The Banyan Tree is nestled in a bay with a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean. Surrounded by coconut palms and tropical forests, the resort is top amongst the latest generation of luxury hotels on the Seychelles.

Rooms/Accommodation: The hotel consists of 15 luxurious Beach Villas and 20 comfortable villas on the slopes, surrounded by lush vegetation. Each villa has its own pool and garden; all Beach Villas have a pavilion containing two massage beds and a whirlpool. Bridal couples can enjoy their own company in total privacy, the staff will prepare and serve all meals in the villas if guests so choose. Each romantic villa is decorated with works by local artists specially created for the ambiance. Then there is the Presidential Villa. It is situated on a small separate bay and has two pools, two sun-terraces, two bedrooms, dressing rooms, an open-air jacuzzi, outside-showers, as well as an extra living and dining pavilion.

In addition, a beauty parlour, various bars and restaurants are available. Try the Creole delicacies in the restaurant Au Jardin d'Epices, in La Varangue or in Saffron, where you can allow skillfully-spiced coconut- and curry-dishes, for which Seychelles is renowned, to melt in your mouth!

Activities: There is a wide range of sports activities on offer, such as canoe and kayak outings, table-tennis, volleyball or windsurfing. You may relax in the fitness-centre or join in yoga and meditation courses.
