Le Touessrok

This impressive luxurious hotel is located on the eastern side of
Mauritius near the fishing village Trou d'Eau Douce. Le Touessrok is an especially
romantic hotel with an extraordinary architecture, which has been rebuilt with
great effort in 2002 and is now again one of the absolute top class hotels
on the island. It is located in a wide, well maintaned garden.
Rooms/Accommodation:
Hotel guests have the choice of 4 different room categories: 68
Deluxe Rooms (about 50qm) are situated on both sides of the reception
and restaurant area, the 125 Junior Suites (about 65qm) are either at the
Hibiscus Beach on the main island or on the island Frangipani.
6 Ocean Suites (about 126qm) are located on llot Lievre and
the Royal Suite (about 320qm) at the Hibiscus Beach. All the elegantly
furnished rooms offer bath with separate shower and WC, hairdryer, minibar,
safe, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, internet access and balcony
or terrace with ocean view. A fine sandy beach and the shuttle service to
the private Ilot Mangenie assure an unforgettable beach holiday.
A beach restaurant is situated on the main hotel island.
Activities:
Water sports enthusiasts can find a wide range of activites on Ile aux Cerfs,
where canoes, sailing, pedalos, waterskiing, windsurfing and snorkelling including
equipment are offered free of charge. For an extra fee parasailing, diving,
banana boat and deep-sea fishing are available.
An 18-hole golf court (Par 72, no green fees, but obligatory golf cart for EUR 30)
has been designed by Bernhard Langer and opened in 2003. The golf court is
wonderfully located on the offshore Ile aux Cerf, which can be reached by
a regular shuttle boat within 10 minutes, free of charge for
guests of Le Touessrok. In the Givenchy Spa body and soul are indulged
with massages and various treatments.
