Privately owned Nukubati Island, which lies just off the northern coast of Vanua
Levu and can only be reached by plane, is surrounded by a natural environment so
outstanding that it has planned World Heritage status. Unsurprisingly, it is
regarded as one of the most exclusive holiday islands in the South Pacific. There
are just seven luxury bungalows, each of which directly faces the ocean, so the
number of guests is limited to 14. For honeymooners, Nukubati provides the
secluded luxury that only true remoteness can offer.
