The Sugar Beach Resort is nestled among breathtakingly beautiful gardens directly on a long beach of powdery sand. The romantic architecture of the villas takes you back to the colonial era. A special feature is the giant swimming pool where dinner is served in the evening.

Rooms/Accommodation: There are 238 pleasantly-furnished rooms fitted with bath/toilet, air-conditioning, TV and video recorder, mini-bar, telephone, safe and hairdryer. The rooms have their own terrace or balcony and are located in groups of ten among the Garden Villas and Manor House. All of the rooms face the Indian Ocean and the Beach Villas have a direct sea view. Apart from the giant swimming pool with bar, there are four restaurants and snack bars in the garden as well as a tea-garden in which five o'clock tea is celebrated colonial style.

Activities: The use of the tennis courts, gym, kayaks, mini-sailing and paddle boats are all part of the complimentary recreational package, as is windsurfing, snorkelling, water-skiing and participation in outings with the glass bottomed boat. Deep-sea fishing, parasailing, mountain-biking and diving are available for a fee.
Entertainment: Evening entertainment with live music and shows.
