The White Sand Beach Resort is located on the Fakarava Atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago, about 490 kilometres north-east of Tahiti. Fakarava is the second largest atoll in French Polynesia and is recognised together with six other neighbouring islands by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve. White Sand Beach Resort is the only hotel on Fakarava. The resort is situated at a beautiful lagoon with a 250 metres long beach, about seven kilometres from the main village of Rotoava.

30 traditional Tahitian bungalows are available as accommodation. The Beach Premium Bungalows offer a direct view of the lagoon, whilst the Beach Bungalows have a partial view of the lagoon. From the Tiare Bungalows, which are located in a beautifully landscaped setting, it's only a short walk to the beach. All bungalows are equipped with furniture made of coconut wood, king-size bed, shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, telephone, ceiling fan, fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, safe and include a terrace.

Romantic sunsets over the lagoon can best be enjoyed sipping a cocktail in the Kiri Kiri Bar. The Kura' Ora Restaurant is specialised in French cuisine. Fish and other seafood is caught directly in the lagoon or in the ocean. A second restaurant, Etoiles, is located on the pier and offers dinner under the stars.

Activities
Snorkelling and table tennis are available to guests free of charge. Kayaking, deep-sea fishing and bicycle hire are offered for a fee. Boat excursions to the near islets, including a barbecue picnic and snorkelling, as well as the visit to a pearl farm can be arranged on location. Fakarava is well known for its almost untouched, colourful underwater world. The dive centre TOPDIVE-Bathys organises dive trips to various dive sites.

Entertainment
Occasionally live music and Polynesian dance shows.
